This was our first live broadcast. The three of us talked Carry Optics Nationals with video review. Huggy is talking about getting a Ruger Precision Rifle in 338 Lapua Magnum. So, we talked a little about rifles as well. There was live feedback as we went. We would like to thank Rick Powers and Driver8 (aka Racer X) for their input during the broadcast.

Episode 54 - Robert Davis, LtCol, USAF Shooting Team
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
Sunday Oct 17, 2021
This week, Leo and I speak with a very interesting guest. Robert Davis is an active duty Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. He primarily shoots International Smallbore Rifle and Air Rifle. However, he also shoots pistol, 3-gun, subgun, tactical matches and pretty much anything that has to do with pulling a trigger. Take a ride with us as we travel through Europe (figuratively speaking) and learn the Do's and Don'ts, while nearly getting arrested. Fasten your seat belt!

Episode 52 - Phillip Velayo, Modern Day Sniper
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
This week I guy one-on-one with Phillip Velayo. He is one-half of Modern Day Sniper. Phillip was a USMC Scout/Sniper and an instructor at the 1st Marine Division schoolhouse (think California).
Even at 2+ hours, we leave a lot of stones unturned. This episode could easily be 4 or 5 two-hour episodes. This is literally old-school and new-school talking about things that have changed and things that will never change. Hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Episode 50 - Michael Shatalov, Grand Master
Sunday Sep 19, 2021
Sunday Sep 19, 2021
This week we talk to Mike Shatalov. He grew in in the Soviet Union, was rationed food as a kid, joined the US Army and jumped into Russia years later, became a high-level competitive parachutist and is now a Grand Master in the USPSA shooting production, which is dying out like the Soviet Union. We had a great time talking. So much so, we broke this one down into two episodes. Each episode is just over an hour long.

Episode 48 - Rachel Trotta, HOIST
Sunday Sep 05, 2021
Sunday Sep 05, 2021
This week, we focus on a different aspect of shooting. If you shot Area 8, you know how hot and muggy it was. I ran across a beverage that claimed to work 110% better than water. That beverage is HOIST. I, Dave, reached out to HOIST and Rachel Trotta accepted my invitation to be on the podcast and talk about it. It is, by far, the best hydration beverage I have ever drank. It will forever be the only beverage I ever drink when trying to maintain hydration and I'm not getting paid to say that. If you would like to try it and see what all the hype is about, use Casual Shooter at checkout to save 10% (nope...we are not getting any kickbacks). You can use either link below:
